Naomi Kingery
grew up as a Christian missionary kid in Bangalore, India. At the age of twelve she was diagnosed with type one diabetes and the disease had a bigger impact on her life than anyone could have ever imagined. She gave herself the nickname "The Diabetic Diva” in the hospital bed and began to learn how to accept and embrace her diabetes, and has devoted her life to helping others do the same.
Kingery currently lives in Southern California where she goes to university, works for Medtronic, and plays active roles within the diabetic community. Some of these roles include:
